FDA issues first-of-its-kind recall
Last week, the Food and Drug Administration exercised its mandatory recall authority under the Food Safety Modernization Act for the first time.

The agency announced a mandatory recall order for all products containing powdered kratom manufactured by Triangle Pharmanaturals due to the risk of salmonella.
