Phil Spector wins spousal support spat with wife

A judge acted properly when modifying a court order to reduce payments, a panel found.

A panel of the 3rd District Court of Appeal has rejected a bid by the estranged wife of music producer Phil Spector to prevent a judge from reducing spousal support payments Spector would be required to pay.

Spector filed for divorce in April 2016, amid media reports his wife, Rachelle, was wasting his money on frivolous expenses like cars and jets while he serves 19 years to life following a 2009 second-degree murder conviction.
