Paul W. Egly, who presided over the defining desegregation lawsuit concerning schools in Los Angeles, has died. He was 97.
As a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge, Egly oversaw the integration of local schools as mandated in the decision of Crawford v. Board of Education of the City of Los Angeles, 822854 (L.A.
