Justice Gail Feuer confirmed to appellate court
The Commission on Judicial Appointments confirmed Superior Court Judge Gail Ruderman Feuer as a justice of the 2nd District Court of Appeal on Monday, after one of her witnesses compared the 5-foot-5 jurist to basketball’s Lebron James.

Nominated by Gov. Jerry Brown on June 1, Feuer will fill the vacancy created by Justice Norvell F. Woods' retirement on March 31, 2015.
