Judicial election response doesn’t hold up
The issue of judicial elections is again become a subject of debate.
More than six years ago I submitted to the Daily Journal a response, which is reprinted below, to Justice Arthur Gilbert's column about judicial elections, titled "Unruly Dogs: Election Time Draws Out Questionable Challenges." The very same issue, judicial elections, has again become the subject of Judge Noel Wise's recent column and Joseph Weissburg's response to Wise in a letter to the editor.
