9th Circuit panel appears skeptical of case against NBA star

A Jane Doe's fight to overturn an adverse jury verdict in her sexual assault lawsuit against NBA star Derrick Rose will be an uphill battle, a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel indicated Friday.
Following a 12-day trial in 2016, a jury determined Rose and his two co-defendants weren't liable for charges brought by Doe, who accused the three men of raping her while she was intoxicated and unconscious in 2013.
