A judge approved an $11 million settlement between 24 Hour Fitness and a class of employees on Thursday, resolving three concurrent lawsuits against the gym chain alleging failure to provide overtime and breaks, among other wage and hour violations.




A judge approved an $11 million settlement between 24 Hour Fitness and a class of employees on Thursday, resolving three concurrent lawsuits against the gym chain alleging failure to provide overtime and breaks, among other wage and hour violations.
According to court documents, in one of the lawsuits, a plaintiff's superiors forbade her from taking breaks even for the restroom, leading to her soiling herself on two occasions.
