Government agencies have divergent views in Qualcomm case

The Federal Trade Commission is at odds with a U.S. Department of Justice concern that the remedy in the Qualcomm antitrust case might be too broad.

The Federal Trade Commission is at odds with a U.S. Department of Justice concern that the remedy in the Qualcomm Inc. antitrust case might end up being too broad.

Earlier this month, the Justice Department's antitrust division weighed in on the 5G wireless technology battle when it asked for a federal court hearing to determine a remedy that would balance public and private interests with industry competition.
