Attorney back to work after 2-month suspension remains on probation

A veteran San Fernando Valley attorney was allowed to resume legal practice this month following a two-month suspension for mishandling four cases.

A veteran San Fernando Valley attorney was allowed to resume legal practice this month following a two-month suspension for mishandling four cases.

Stanley H. Kimmel, a Granada Hills sole practitioner, was ordered suspended from the practice of law for a year, stayed for all but 60 days, and put on probation for a year. The discipline was handed down by the State Bar and upheld by a state Supreme Court ruling earlier this year.
