Half of female attorneys report bullying, survey says

Half of female attorneys and one third of male attorneys have been bullied at their job, according to a new global survey.

Half of female attorneys and one third of male attorneys in a survey of 7,000 lawyers in 135 countries said they had been bullied at their jobs, according to a report released Wednesday.

The International Bar Association also said its survey found one in three women lawyers who were questioned said they had been sexually harassed in the workplace. The association survey defined workplace bullying as “exposure to aggressive behavior ...
