All felons in Los Angeles county who believe they were wrongly convicted can now apply to have the district attorney’s office review their convictions.

District Attorney Jackie Lacey announced Wednesday the expansion of cases her office would be willing to review. Previously, only serious or violent felons could file claims with the office to have their convictions reviewed.
