Ding dong, the witch is dead!

Please forgive the levity in the title of this column. Lawyers who litigate constitutional property rights cases have been waiting since 1985 for a majority of the U.S. Supreme Court to recognize the error the court had committed when it decided Williamson County Regional Planning Commission v. Hamilton Bank, and do something to correct it, if not drive a stake through its figurative heart.
