Los Angeles attorney Eric P. Early announced Wednesday he will challenge Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Los Angeles, for his seat in Congress next year.
Early, a Republican, is best-known for finishing fourth in the primary for state attorney general in 2018. He won 14 percent of the vote, just behind Democratic Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones. Incumbent Xavier Becerra easily won the general election.
