The purpose of this series of articles is to show you what steps to take when contacted by the State Bar. While this might seem obvious, you must realize that your license to practice law is at stake. We last talked about how to respond to the State Bar investigator, who is not acting as an attorney, but will make recommendations to bar counsel as to whether the case should go forward for prosecution or be closed.
