State Bar seeks input on how to advise cannabis businesses
The State Bar is soliciting public opinion from attorneys on how to advise and assist clients operating cannabis businesses despite the fact that the client’s conduct, although lawful under California law, might violate federal law.

The bar sent out the request Friday and gave lawyers 90 days to provide their opinions, according to the organization’s website.
