Accident shows need for e-scooter companies to do better
On July 12, British Youtube star Emily Hartridge was killed while riding an electric scooter on the streets of London.

On July 12, British Youtube star Emily Hartridge was killed while riding an electric scooter on the streets of London. According to reports in the British media, Hartridge was riding in a bicycle lane and hit a bump in the road. The jolt caused her to lose control and veer into the adjacent lane, where she was fatally struck by a passing truck. Hers is the first e-scooter fatality in the United Kingdom.
