Oregon state judge nominated for 9th Circuit seat

The White House moved to fill a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals seat that has been vacant since Judge Diarmuid O’Scannlain took senior status in 2016.

The White House moved Wednesday to fill a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals vacancy that has lingered throughout Donald Trump's presidency, nominating Oregon state trial judge Danielle J. Hunsaker to assume the Portland seat Diarmuid O'Scannlain held until taking senior status in late 2016.
