Judge refuses to dismiss trademark case over Patagonia beer

A federal judge refused to dismiss a trademark infringement case against Anheuser-Busch LLC that Patagonia Inc. filed over the beer brand Cerveza Patagonia.

A federal judge refused to dismiss a trademark infringement case against Anheuser-Busch LLC that Patagonia Inc. filed over the beer brand Cerveza Patagonia.

Patagonia, which is based in Ventura, sufficiently demonstrated its trademark is famous and distinctive, Chief U.S. District Judge Virginia A. Phillips wrote in her order Tuesday.
