Judge finds Trump supporters allegedly harmed at 2016 rally aren’t a class

U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh said the putative class was treated individually by officers making independent judgments and decisions.

A San Jose federal judge has denied class certification to Donald Trump supporters who said they were attacked by a mob at a 2016 rally.

U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh found Monday the proposed class alleging city officials and law enforcement acted with "deliberate indifference" by leading the plaintiffs into a mob to be too "general and conclusory."
