Lawson and the outlook of PAGA litigation in the 2020s

For the past 15 years, California employers have been plagued by mass actions brought under the Private Attorneys General Act, which was signed into law by Gov. Gray Davis in 2003 as a parting blow to the employers who helped fund the successful recall effort less than a year into his second term.
