Amy Karlin named interim federal public defender in Central District
Amy M. Karlin is now interim federal public defender for the Central District of California.
Amy M. Karlin is now interim federal public defender for the Central District of California.
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals announced her appointment Tuesday, effective that day. She's been with the federal defender's office since 1990 and has been directing attorney of the Southern Division in Santa Ana since 2009.
