MGM is first company to pay mass shooting victims, likely not the last

MGM Resorts International became the first company to pay victims of a mass shooting but will likely not be the last, said plaintiffs’ attorneys Thursday, after agreement was reached for up to $800 million for those harmed by the firing from a hotel window into a concert crowd on the Las Vegas Strip in 2017.

MGM Resorts International became the first company to pay victims of a mass shooting but will likely not be the last, said plaintiffs' attorneys Thursday after agreement was reached for up to $800 million for those harmed by the firing from a hotel window into a concert crowd on the Las Vegas Strip in 2017.
