Los Angeles judge, WWII veteran Samuel Mayerson dies at 96
Samuel Mayerson, Patty Hearst prosecutor and Los Angeles Superior Court judge, died Sept. 30 of natural causes.
Samuel Mayerson, Patty Hearst prosecutor and Los Angeles Superior Court judge, died Sept. 30 of natural causes. He would have been 97 on Sunday.
Friends and colleagues remembered him as a principled and knowledgeable judge in the courtroom and a funny man with a soft heart outside it.
