Governor signs 15 new gun control laws

AB 61 allows coworkers, employers and teachers use an ex parte court process to obtain a gun-violence restraining order.

Attorney General Xavier Becerra’s office defended California gun laws in two different courts last week. But that kind of workload may be a fraction of what is to come after Gov. Gavin Newsom signed new 15 gun control laws Friday.
