Extending SOL for sexual assault victims is an important step

On Oct. 13, Gov. Gavin Newsom signed AB 218, providing survivors of childhood sexual assault a significantly greater opportunity to pursue justice in our civil courts. The bill is an excellent start toward conforming our laws to the realities of childhood sexual assault.
