Anderson is living up to pledge to pursue more criminal cases

Statistics released by the Department of Justice indicate newly-appointed U.S. Attorney David Anderson has followed through on his commitment to pursue more criminal cases.

SAN FRANCISCO -- Statistics released by the Department of Justice indicate newly-appointed U.S. Attorney David Anderson has followed through on his commitment to pursue more criminal cases.

The Northern District U.S. Attorney's Office charged 671 defendants this fiscal, an increase of nearly 25% from the 540 defendants charged in 2018, according to a Tuesday news release.
