Microsoft female workers seek class status for employment case

In a case that will help refine the viability of employment discrimination class actions, counsel for a group of female Microsoft employees told a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel Monday her clients presented more than enough evidence of gender-based pay and promotion disparity to proceed to trial as a class against the technology titan.
