EEOC halts use of employer reports on pay information

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission will no longer use its EEO-1 employer information report to collect pay data information based on race, ethnicity and sex and will hold an upcoming public hearing this week to discuss how to better gather the information, the agency announced Monday.
