Hueston Hennigan sues to reconnect hotline for detained immigrants
Freedom for Immigrants claims its hotline was shut down by federal officials after exposure on a popular TV show led to a substantial surge in calls.
Attorneys from Hueston Hennigan LLP filed a lawsuit and a request for preliminary injunction Tuesday against the Department of Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement for allegedly shutting down a hotline for immigrants featured on a popular Netflix show.
