Challenger accuses LA incumbent DA of conflict
An attorney who co-hosted a fundraising event for District Attorney Jackie Lacey’s re-election campaign is defense counsel in a case the district attorney’s office is prosecuting, prompting challenger George Gascon to call for referral of the case to the attorney general or a neighboring county DA.
