LA judge set to retire early next year

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Elizabeth White, who has primarily handled civil assignments since her appointment in 1997, said her final day on the bench will be Jan. 15.

LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Elizabeth White has announced she will retire after 22 years on the bench.

The judge said her last day on the job will be Jan. 15.

White hears a civil independent calendar court at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse and has primarily worked civil assignments since her appointment.
