Ex-Assembly judiciary counsel now heads majority leader’s staff

Former chief counsel of the Assembly Judiciary Committee Drew Liebert has come out of retirement to become chief of staff for Senate Majority Leader Robert M. Hertzberg.

Former chief counsel of the Assembly Judiciary Committee Drew Liebert has come out of retirement to become chief of staff for Senate Majority Leader Robert M. Hertzberg.

Liebert, who worked for the committee for 18 years before his retirement in 2015, started in his new role Monday.
