DOJ collected $3B under the False Claims Act last year

The vast majority of this money, $2.6 billion, came from matters related to the health care industry. More than half of that came from one British conglomerate, Reckitt Benckiser Group plc.

The U.S. Department of Justice obtained more than $3 billion in judgments and settlements under False Claims Act cases in the 2019 fiscal year, it announced Thursday.
