NCAA university presidents discussed the complicated terrain for compliance with California’s Fair Pay to Play Act during the association’s annual conference in Anaheim, with some warning the new legislation would result in calamity.

“It’s an existential threat to the NCAA, and I would say to collegiate sports altogether,” Daemen College president Gary Olson said Thursday during a panel discussion.
