Possible deportees moved from Bay Area to LA for court hearings

In what immigrants' rights advocates are calling a politically motivated move by the Trump administration to make it more difficult for potential deportees to receive legal assistance while in detention, the Executive Office for Immigration Review moved all new cases away from the Bay Area to a federal court in downtown Los Angeles on Monday.
