Investor sues Mattel, PwC regarding $109M in understated tax
The New Orleans Employees Retirement System represented by Jonathan Daniel Uslaner of Bernstein Litowitz Berger and Grossmann LLP filed the suit Friday after a whistleblower said the company's senior accounting executives worked with PwC to conceal the accounting errors.




Mattel Inc. and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP were toying with investors by understating Mattel's income tax expenses by $109 million in 2017 and manipulated the company's accounting to hide it, according to an investor complaint filed in a Los Angeles federal court.
