Alan Halkett, 1931-2020
Early Latham & Watkins partner helped to build the firm's trial practice.
Alan N. Halkett, one of the earliest Latham & Watkins partners and a former chair of its litigation practice, was remembered for setting the foundation for the firm's trial department and mentoring young attorneys.
He died Jan. 30 in his Palos Verdes home at 88.
