Tennis pro reinstated after a positive anti-doping test

Attorneys for Robert Farah said the positive result was likely due to steroids in beef he ate the night prior.

A top-ranked tennis player under investigation for doping was cleared for competition Monday, following a bid for reinstatement by his counsel at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP.

Robert Farah, currently ranked as the world's Number 1 doubles player, was reinstated after a finding of "no fault" by the International Tennis Federation in connection with an October 2019 positive test finding.
