Monsanto appeals $87 million Roundup verdict
The May verdict was the third consecutive loss for Monsanto on accusations its glyphosate-based weed killer can cause non-Hodgking lymphoma.
A jury's finding that the Roundup weedkiller caused a couple's cancer is at odds with U.S. law and the state of the science, Monsanto told an appeallate court.
