AMC attorney grilled in 'The Walking Dead' profit sharing trial
Alleging breach of contract and violation of California business law, the comic series creators filed suit along with the show’s producers Glen Mazzara and Gale Ann Hurd in 2017, claiming AMC exploited its vertically-integrated corporate structure to massively reduce the amount owed to profit participants.





The brains behind "The Walking Dead" are biting back.
Counsel to Robert Kirkman, creator of the comic series upon which the wildly successful TV series is based, pressed attorneys for AMC Networks Inc. in court Tuesday on what they knew and when in relation to a profit participation deal the company inked for the series ahead of its 2010 launch.
