Uber Technologies Inc. must face a trade secrets theft trial by an entrepreneur who accuses its former CEO, Travis Kalanick, and other company officials of stealing his idea after a jury on Friday rejected the company's bid to squelch the lawsuit on the grounds it was filed too late.
