Attorneys who objected to $10.2M settlement get a quarter of it
U.S. Northern District Judge William H. Orrick gave $2.6 million of the $10.2 million settlement to a trio of firms who represented two plaintiffs who sought to intervene and while carrying out their own case in state court.





A federal judge has awarded a quarter of the settlement in a class action compensation case to attorneys who objected to the deal. But an appeals court is also going to get a crack at this somewhat unusual fee ruling.
