Class accuses coach, NCAA of misconduct and assault

Three former student-athletes filed a class action lawsuit against the NCAA, its Board of Governors and track coach John Rembao, alleging failure to prohibit sexual abuse, harassment and misconduct.

Three women sued the NCAA and a high-profile track-and-field coach, alleging sexual misconduct, harassment and failure to prohibit abuse in a proposed federal class action filed Wednesday in the Northern District Court of California.

Erin Aldrich, Jessica Johnson and Londa Bevins were recruited by coach John Rembao as potential student athletes in the late 1990s, the lawsuit says.
