Becerra joins other AGs in requesting FTC nationwide non-compete ban
Non-compete provisions, which prevent employees from working for their employer’s competitor or starting a similar trade, inhibit wage growth, reduce competition, and harm consumers, according to a letter signed by several attorneys general and submitted Tuesday to the Federal Trade Commission.
