CJP postpones sexual misconduct hearings for appeals justice, Ventura judge

Matters involving 2nd District Court of Appeal Justice Jeffrey W. Johnson and Ventura County Superior Court Judge Jeffrey G. Bennett were put on hold due to public health concerns related to COVID-19, according to the commission.

A Commission on Judicial Performance hearing in a case against 2nd District Court of Appeal Justice Jeffrey W. Johnson has been postponed indefinitely due to public health concerns about the coronavirus.

The hearing had been scheduled for Wednesday.
