San Francisco court delays most eviction cases until July

After a rebellion by tenant attorneys and pressure from state legislators because San Francisco eviction cases were still scheduled even though most Bay Area courthouses were shutting down operations, court officials have reversed course and postponed most cases until July.

The Wednesday afternoon decision cleared up a couple of days of confusion about how the court department in charge of evictions would proceed.
