Prisoner mental health case plaintiffs seek thousands of early releases

The plaintiffs in a decades-old case over state prison mental health care filed an emergency motion Wednesday night seeking inmate releases in order to prevent outbreaks of the coronavirus. One state prisoner and five prison staff have tested positive for the virus.
