State high court won’t hear Huntington Beach’s sanctuary law case

Justices decided Wednesday not to take the case, which began as a writ petition from the Huntington Beach challenging the enforcement of the California Values Act through Senate Bill 54, legislation that prohibits the use of state resources to enforce immigrations laws.
