Panel considers demand to release thousands of state prisoners

Eight state prisoners have been diagnosed with the coronavirus, the plaintiffs said in their argument for release of 45,000.

Does the Eighth Amendment demand prisoners be given the opportunity to maintain six feet of social distancing? And how could that be done with thousands of inmates sleeping less than three feet from each other?
