Public Counsel teams with studio to help entertainment employees

Public Counsel, a pro bono law firm, is working with the Legendary Entertainment studio to run the Helping Entertainment Labor and Professionals program, which provides free webinars to guide workers through evolving federal and state unemployment benefits.

A pro bono law firm and a studio teamed up to help entertainment workers get unemployment support through the COVID-19 pandemic, and the duo hopes to start offering one-on-one assistance to address more complex cases.
